The Boat Race at The Blue Boat, Fulham Reach
The Blue Boat in Fulham Reach, near Hammersmith, is right on the banks of the River Thames and the Thames Path, making it the perfect spot to watch The Boat Race.
We are taking table bookings for the day and will have a Fête on our outdoor terrace with entertainment, pop-up bars and food stalls from 10am.
The annual Boat Race between Oxford and Cambridge Universities will take place on Sunday 29 March 2020 between Putney and Mortlake on the River Thames in South West London, where thousands of spectators will gather by the River Thames to see which team takes home the Boat Race title and glory.

The Blue Boat is one of the only pubs along the route taking table bookings for meals before, during and after the race, and is offering a bespoke three-course set menu available only by pre-order.

The Boat Race Fête at The Blue Boat
We are holding a Fête on our front terrace for The Oxford vs Cambridge Boat Race from 10am, with live music, children’s entertainment, pop-up bars and food stalls including a BBQ with souvlaki grill, offering vegan, vegetarian and meat kebabs, a paella stand and an ice cream cart.
The Blue Boat’s main bar inside will be open, as well as pop-up bars in the terrace by Asahi, Jubel, Aperol, Campari, Tarquins, Real Kombucha, Anspach & Hobday, and more.
Enjoy fresh, quality food and a great selection of drinks while you catch the action from our spacious patio next to the water.
Be sure to stay a little longer because it’s also a top spot to watch the sunset.
